W.A.R. Garage Auto T-Shirt Car Giveaway — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
This is a sweepstakes. It is not a lottery or raffle. Each free mail-in entry earns two (2) entries, the same as the most entries any single purchased item earns, and every entry has an equal chance in the drawing.
1. Sponsor

2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older when they enter. Void where prohibited. To claim the prize, the winner must hold a valid driver's license. These people may not enter: employees, owners, and contractors of Sponsor, its print-on-demand vendor, and anyone else involved in running the Giveaway, plus their immediate family members and people living in their households. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
3. Promotion Period
The Giveaway starts at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Monday, November 9, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, December 21, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official clock for the Giveaway.
4. How to Enter
A. With a purchase. Each eligible T-shirt ($30) or hoodie ($50) bought at wargarageauto.com during the Promotion Period gets entries automatically in the buyer's name, using the name and email given at checkout: one (1) entry per T-shirt and two (2) entries per hoodie. Example: 1 T-shirt + 1 hoodie = 3 entries. A refunded or charged-back order loses its entries.
B. No Purchase Required Mail-In Method of Entry. To receive two (2) entries without making any kind of purchase, hand-print the following on a plain piece of 3"x5" paper: your complete first and last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), email address, and daytime telephone number including area code. Mail your entry in a #10 business-size envelope with first-class postage affixed to: W.A.R. Garage Auto Miata Giveaway, 5712 W Wackerly St, Midland, MI 48642. Your outer mailing envelope must show a handwritten, valid return address that includes your complete first and last name. Mailed entries received without a verifiable and legible return address are incomplete and invalid.
Additional requirements:
- Limit one (1) entry per outer envelope. There is no limit to the number of mail-in entries an entrant can submit. Bulk shipments (multiple entries in one package) will not be accepted.
- The entry and the outer mailing envelope must both be handwritten. Mechanically reproduced entries and metered mail are not permitted.
- Entries must be postmarked by December 19, 2026 and received by December 21, 2026.
Each valid mail-in entry counts as two (2) entries, which is equal to the maximum number of entries awarded for any single purchased item (a hoodie). Entries that are incomplete or illegible, or that are submitted under more than one identity, are void.
5. Odds
Your odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries Sponsor receives in total, counting both purchase entries and mail-in entries. Every entry, whether from a purchase or from mail-in, has an equal chance of being selected.
6. Prize
One (1) Grand Prize: a 2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring, VIN JM1NC25F580149392, 74,953 miles,. Approximate retail value (ARV): $8,500 (Black Book value). The winner must pick up the vehicle, at their own expense, at 5712 W Wackerly St, Midland, MI 48642. Sponsor will not deliver or ship the vehicle. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, and for all title, registration, and license plate fees, insurance, and any other costs. The prize cannot be transferred, and the winner may not substitute a different prize or take cash instead. However, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if it has to.
Prize Awarded "AS IS"
The vehicle is awarded "AS IS, WHERE IS," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor makes no representations or guarantees about the vehicle's condition, history, mechanical soundness, or fitness for use. At handoff, the winner will receive a Buyers Guide-style "AS IS – NO DEALER WARRANTY" disclosure and must sign to acknowledge it. The winner may inspect the vehicle before accepting it. Once the winner accepts the vehicle, the winner accepts all risk regarding its condition.
7. Drawing
On December 23, 2026, Sponsor will run the drawing using RANDOM.ORG's Third-Party Draw Service. After the entry period closes, Sponsor will freeze and number the list of all eligible entries: one (1) row per T-shirt, two (2) rows per hoodie, and two (2) rows per valid mail-in entry. Sponsor will upload that list to RANDOM.ORG, which will randomly select one (1) potential winner and two (2) alternates, in ranked order. RANDOM.ORG publishes a public record of the drawing that entrants can view. Sponsor will publish the link to that record.
The drawing will be streamed live on Sponsor's Facebook page. An independent, unaffiliated witness will observe it and sign a statement attesting to it. Sponsor will keep the recording, the entry list, and the drawing record for at least one (1) year. Sponsor's decisions in the drawing are final.
8. Notification and Verification
Sponsor will try to reach the potential winner by phone and email within 24 hours of the drawing. Within one (1) week (7 days) of notification, the potential winner must respond and make arrangements for the prize. In that time they must also sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where the law allows) a Publicity Release, and must provide a valid ID and their SSN for tax reporting. If the potential winner does not respond, cannot be verified, or is found ineligible, they forfeit the prize, and Sponsor will contact an alternate. The winner must pick up the vehicle at 5712 W Wackerly St, Midland, MI 48642 within two (2) weeks (14 days) of notification. If the winner misses either deadline, the prize is forfeited and will be awarded to the next alternate in ranked order. Each alternate is subject to the same deadlines.
9. Taxes
The prize counts as taxable income to the winner. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 for the prize's ARV of $8,500. (A 1099 is required for prizes worth $600 or more.)
10. Publicity
Except where the law prohibits it, by accepting the prize the winner agrees that Sponsor may use their name, city, image, and likeness in advertising without paying them anything more.
11. Limitation of Liability and Release
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its owners, employees, and vendors from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from taking part in the Giveaway or from accepting or using the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any of these:
- entries that are lost, late, misdirected, or damaged;
- technical, computer, or postal failures;
- order fulfillment by third parties;
- printing or other errors in these rules or in promotional materials.
Sponsor may cancel, change, or suspend the Giveaway if fraud, technical problems, or anything else beyond its control damages the Giveaway's integrity. If that happens, Sponsor may draw the winner from the eligible entries received before the problem.
12. Disputes
These rules are governed by Michigan law. Any dispute will be handled individually, without class actions, in the courts of Midland County, Michigan.
13. Privacy
Sponsor collects entrants' information only to run the Giveaway and fill orders. Entrants who opt in may also receive Sponsor's marketing. Sponsor does not sell entrants' information. More information: wargarageauto.com.
14. Not Affiliated with Social Platforms
Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok do not sponsor, endorse, or administer this Giveaway and have no connection to it. Entrants release them from all liability.
15. Winner's Name and Rules
To get the winner's name, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope by January 31, 2027 to the address in Section 4B, marked "Winner Name." A copy of these rules is available at wargarageauto.com.
